Dr. Meghan Abbott

Dr. Meghan Abbott graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. With a lifelong love of horses, Dr. Abbott went into equine medicine after graduation but shortly after made the switch to small animal general practice. Dr. Abbott has found a passion for small animal veterinary medicine through surgery, dentistry and in-depth medical cases.

However, Dr. Abbott’s favorite part of veterinary medicine is the bonds she develops with her clients both two and four-legged. Client, staff, and veterinary student education is a top priority for her. When Dr. Abbott is not practicing veterinary medicine, she spends time competing in eventing with her off-the-track thoroughbreds. She also loves a good day hanging out with her four dogs and six cats on their family farm.
